https://digicom.com/rescuemypc/

You will see Digicom’s RescueMyPC Online Remote Support page.

After completing the form, click the Start Remote Tech Support button.

Step 3: Download the RescueMyPC Program

A window will appear explaining that the RescueMyPC program is being downloaded.

You normally do not need to click anything on this page. The download should begin automatically.

If the download has not started after about two minutes, click the Try Again button.

Step 4: Open the Downloaded File

Microsoft Edge

After the download finishes, a Downloads box should appear near the upper-right corner of the Edge window.

Click Open File, or click the downloaded RescueMyPC file.

If the Downloads box is no longer visible, press Ctrl + J on your keyboard. This will open your Downloads list. Find the RescueMyPC file and click it.

Google Chrome

After the download finishes, the downloaded file should appear near the upper-right corner of the Chrome window.

Click the RescueMyPC file to open it.

If you do not see the download, press Ctrl + J on your keyboard. Find the RescueMyPC file on the Downloads page and click it.

Mozilla Firefox

After the download finishes, click the Downloads button near the upper-right corner of Firefox. It looks like a downward-pointing arrow.

Click the RescueMyPC file to open it.

If you do not see the download, press Ctrl + J on your keyboard. Find the RescueMyPC file in the Downloads list and double-click it.

Step 5: Answer the Three Connection Questions

You will now receive three questions. They must be answered in this order before your Digicom technician can fully connect.

Question 1

A small Digicom window will appear with the message:

“User Account Control (UAC) is enabled on this PC. Please click OK to allow Rescue to elevate your session.”

Click the OK button.

Question 2

A second Digicom window will appear. It will say:

“Technician would like to perform one or more actions on this computer, including the following:”

The window may list several actions, including viewing or controlling your desktop, viewing system information, transferring files, rebooting the computer, or running scripts.

Click the OK button.

Question 3

The screen may darken, and Windows will display a User Account Control question asking:

“Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”

The app should be listed as Rescue Applet, with GoTo Technologies USA, LLC shown as the verified publisher.

Click Yes.

Be careful because Windows may highlight the No button by default. You must click Yes, located toward the lower-left side of the window.

Step 6: You Are Connected

After you click Yes on the third question, your Digicom technician should be fully connected and able to begin helping you.

You may notice your mouse moving, windows opening, or programs starting while the technician works. This is normal.

Please remain near the computer in case the technician needs you to answer a question, enter a password, or complete another security prompt.

When the work is finished, your technician will disconnect. You may also end the connection at any time by closing the RescueMyPC window.

Important Security Information

RescueMyPC is used only for the current support session.

A Digicom technician cannot connect until you run the program and approve the connection questions.

Only use RescueMyPC when you have requested support from Digicom.

Do not allow remote access to someone who contacts you unexpectedly and claims that your computer has a problem, unless you already have a trusted relationship with that person. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, HP, and others, will NOT call you to help you. Those would be scammers.

Any use of RescueMyPC is done by our technicians at Digicom, located in Evansville, IN, USA.  You are welcome to call us at 812-437-2911 or even visit our office. To verify we are trusted technicians who are also Better Business Bureau members, you can verify us at the BBB (Click Here)
